Thank you for getting back so soon. I was going to leave it up to what ever they want to bring, links or patties, which ever is cheaper. With having the
griddles and skillets for the grilled cheese samishes for Sat. we should have enough things to do pancakes and sausages. Iam bringing my 18qt. roaster to keep
the pancakes warm while making them and two crockpots to keep the sausages warm
also.
How many people were there at Maumee? How many boxes was-12cups?We don't eat them at home.
I have Leslie,Steve, Fred,Mel-o, and Denise bringing griddles or skillets and we should be able to use the CG grills also. I will call tomorrow to make 100% sure
about the CG's grills for Sun.morning. Know problem! Dee

I got a big bag from Sam's Club. I think I have about half a bag left.

My mistake, Robin you know I just wanted to see how long it would take somebody to see it,right!
Please everyone who hasn't told me what they are bringing or doing for the food please let me know by the Monday-20th so I can have it posted by then, it will help us to see what we still need-example hamburgers,more pancake mix and more sausages and how much of each.
Bonnie how much pancake mix and sausages approx. did you use at Maumee?
Steve,Cindy,or Robin how much do you think we will need? thought you might know
since you were part of the group that went to Gburg. rally. Help please. Dee
I used 12 cups of pancake mix, I have some mix left over that you can have. All you add to the mix is water. Are you using links or patties, I would plan on two to four a person. And with the group you're having 3 to 4 griddles going.

We are OSU Fans!!! We just bought a mini motorhome in August after not owning a camper for approx 8 years! We are looking forward to this rally!

We have decided to join everyone at Evergreen. We are at site 19. Being a Michigan Fan, I am leaning towards Penn State to win against OSU. Sorry Buckeye Fans. We had a great time at Maumee and look forward to seeing everyone again. Not sure about what to bring for food, so any ideas would be good. Eventually we will get the hang of things. Also how does the auction work?

Jerry, here is an explanation of the auction. From one of the founding fathers of the Ohio Rally group:
"I know you guys have perfect memories, but I thot it might be a good idea to remind everyone about the "Pink Flamingo Auction". If you want, you can bring something for the auction, to be auctioned off. Wrap it, but don't put anything on the outside to tell what it is. There are no rules about any real or perceived value for the item...
Some of the material benefits of belonging to this group, such as the Ohio Rally signs, the sign posts, the rally host dangly signs, the clips to hold the dangly things, the rally host pink flamangos, and the annual notebooks with camping calenders are subsidized by the auction."
Found this by searching "pink flamingo" under "rallies, shows, etc." It is from last years rally, posted by Larry, who was not at the Maumee rally.

So sorry we won't be able to join you this year but we'll be at Fort Wilderness with our family and some RV.net friends...darn the luck...we're goin' to Disney World...but somebody has to do it!

Hey there Ohio Ralliers! I have just made reservations on the last site (#17) for this rally. Office says they only have one other open site in the park. We will be leaving the teenage girl home (with big sis) to deal with her various activities. Wow - a weekend alone!
I will post menu items later.
I guess it looks like we won`t be camping then if all is gone. Might just drive up for day.Couldn`t make reservations till I knew if I could get days off.
Bob, call daily, you never know if they get a cancelation.

Todd - how was the Novi show? Were people buying or maybe more importantly, were banks financing?
Kathy - Novi show was poorly attended. There were a lot of class A's that were getting a lot of looks, many with tag axles, to my knowledge they were not selling. On the other hand National RV direct did fairly well. Those people who have applied for credit do not seem to be having a problem getting approved at a 6% APR.
I got to tow a Cyclone 3950 toy hauler - triple axle, 18,000 lbs., truck handled it pretty well at 70 mph.
